- Caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate, softdrinks)
- Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapes, strawberries, mangoes)
- Certain vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, green peppers, cauliflower)
- Spices (chili powder, cinnamon etc)
The colic-causing properties of these foods are most likely due to the fact they are difficult for the infant to digest.
