Concentrated 官燕

When dissolved in water, birds' nests have a gelatinous texture. My mom claims that this texture is good for skin and contains collagen.

I want to have radiant and good skin before my wedding so I bought concentrated 官燕 from Fu Hua Chinese Hall. One box of 6 bottles costs $150 (before 10% discount). We wanted to check out the Roselle flower to make tea but she ended up spending $1550 there.

Anyway, the concentrated 官燕 has 3 boxes for $386 promotion. I thought if it's good then I will re-purchase from them later. Each consumption is a spoonful every day. This saves me time and effort from brewing the bird nests. If I can, I will eat bird nest everyday when I am pregnant.

Treatment at JR Natural

The way to JR Natural is the lift beside Burger King Clarke Quay MRT. I didn't intercom to let them know that I am here and the lift wouldn't go up to the 7th floor. So I called them and one staff kindly came down to fetch me.

The place is neat, simple and clean. Their treatment rooms are separated into male and female areas. There are no doors but curtains to separate the beds.

I was asked to change into a set of pyjamas (need not remove my undergarments) and lay on the bed. The therapist came and started applying a herb serum on my tummy. She started to massage with her gloves on for 5-6 minutes.

As she massaged, she explained to me about the treatment and shared some knowledge about traditional chinese medicine, chinese therapies etc. She is from China and she has been in this line for 10 years. She seemed to have alot of knowledge in this area. Endless chatting about the topic.

After the massage, she did the point treatment for me. I'm not exactly sure how to describe. These points carry air waves and when in contact with the skin, it creates a vibration. She placed some on my tummy and arms for a few minutes. And then my feet and my back area.

When I did the back area, I was faced down. I felt more and more tired every minute. I actually dozed off when I was doing the back area, despite her chatting all the way before that. I rarely doze off during spa and body massage. I don't know why this is one of the rare occasions that I really fell soundly asleep.

After the treatment, I was given a bowl of white lotus dessert and honey tea drink.

She recommended a package of 10 sessions for $1400 with 2 boxes of Lotus pads. If I signed that day, I will get 10% discount. It's really expensive. I told her that I have to think about it.

She didn't really push further. I was tempted for a moment but I couldn't because I still have not pay off my credit card instalments.

2nd visit to Everspring

Yesterday was my second visit to Everspring. The waiting time is horrible again. We reached at 6.15 pm but I only saw the doctor at 8.50 pm. Crazy wait. I feel that their time management is very poor.

Meanwhile, Dear and I had our dinner at the coffeeshop behind. There is a really nice Ja Jiang Mian by a China chef. I like how the mince meat and the sauce blend together. The noodle seems to be handmade and it's soft and smooth. Their guo tie is nice too. 8 pieces for $3. Cheap and good.

I only talked to the sinseh for 2 minutes. Well, my menstrual cycle is still about 50 days. She changed the medication for me and gave me a bigger size bottle, which will last me a month. She said I can come and just buy the medication. After I finish 2 bottles, then I see her again, which is probably around November?

NaturalPad - Snow Lotus (2)

30 Aug -  is my first day of using naturalpad. When I first opened the pad, it contained a herbal smell. I've been wearing it for 4 hours already. It feels a little cooling down there. As I'm sitting on my chair and typing now, I can smell a little herb smell (like I am placing a liang teh beside me).

1 Sept - second pad used. Starting to like the herbal smell. Kinda like the 膏药布 smell too. Same cool effect down under.

5 Sept - third pad used. I had it on after my shower at 10 pm until the next morning. Didn't feel any sensation. I kinda prefer to wear it to work in the mornings.

8 Sept - fourth pad used. Somehow the cooling sensation subsided but the herbal smell is still there. I consulted the sinseh yesterday evening. She asked me to be cautious about fungus. 10 years ago, there is such a product in the market and users had fungus around their vagina. These products were not approved by the health authorities. The sinseh's advice is that I do not buy these pads. The next day, I did a check and found that it's said to be patented in the US since its launch. (google search)

15 Sept - fifth pad used. I used it after bathing in the evening and had it on throughout the night.

16 Sept - sixth pad used. I used it in the morning before I go to work. I'm using both consecutively  days to boost results and see if there's any difference. There is really more discharge today. I remembered the therapist told me that the more discharge, the more detox my body will be. I suppose this is good then.

NaturalPad - Snow Lotus (1)

Just now, during lunch time, I saw this roadshow at Raffles Place Exchange.

Naturalpad Snow Lotus is a product for gynaecological detoxification. It resists bacteria and detoxifies. This product helps to maintain good female reproduction health. If you use it frequently, it can prevent women's problem, regulate internal secretion, improve facial complexion and delay the onset of ageing.

I got their brochure and was totally mesmerised by this. But I had to re-consider because the price is not cheap. Their shop is at 6 Eu Tong Sen Street #07-17 Clarke Quay MRT. They also have a website. I'm really keen to check it out.

Ermm... well.... I gave in to temptation. I bought it.

One box of 10 pads costs $100. One pad will last for 8-12 hours and the recommended usage is two pads a day. Oh gosh, of course I am not going to follow their recommendation. I'm going to use every alternate day. There is a promotion going on, so I am entitled to one therapy treatment at their shop with a purchase of $100.

The lady who served me really cared about me. She said that I look frail and weak. I should "tiao" my body well first before I decide to get pregnant. She also touched my arm and hand and told me that my body temperature is very cold (not warm enough).

My mom also said that I look good on the exterior but the interior all faulty. I must really take care of my health and body.
