G's 6 year old birthday

I realised that I forgot to post G's 6 year old birthday celebration. I will post what we do for the children for their birthdays. This is my commitment to keep maintaining this blog, so that when they are older, they can look back and read the memories.

It was a simple one with us at ah zor's place. I couldn't bake because we didn't have our own place. My grandma was housing us that time. She let us stay with her for a period of 8 months without charging me a single cent and even cooked dinner for us everyday. I am very grateful for her love and generosity.

And so, I bought some mini cupcakes and we just sang a birthday song together. E insisted to hold the cupcakes while we walked from City Square back home and along the way, she dropped the cupcakes. The cream topping were smashed and they were not pretty anymore.

But it didn't bother us at all. They are still happy. 3 of us went to the kitchen to get the candles lit and I switched off the kitchen lights. E laid hands on G during my prayer and Papa Han gave G the very big Sylvannian family toy the next day (he carried from Jurong East to us).

It was very simple but full of love.

And G shifted back with us. She still chose us eventually, despite no aircon. The last few moments we spent together at a rented place before we have to shift again. The owner cheated my deposit and I hope God will take care of him.

Anyway, their biological father refused to house us. When I told him that his kids have nowhere to go, we will have to roam around the streets, he replied "that's your problem". So i will cease paying for the tpy flat soon. I am paying and he is staying there for free, enjoying the whole house.

我们一家人(referring to the kids and me) 要弄得四分五裂。太可怜了。

And of course, I am not saying where we will shift next. He will not know.

Happy 3rd Birthday E

Happy Birthday E. This is the first year I bought a birthday cake instead of baking one. I feel so bad that I always didnt seem to put in much effort for E. Furthermore, I am unable to bake this year because we haven't found a place yet and I am forbidden entry into my TPY flat. 

My parents were there with us for the school celebration. E was exceptionally sticky to me when I was in school. She would ask me to carry her, whine and whine when I am not by her side. After school, we went to City Square for steamboat with my parents. 

On that Sunday, we went to the zoo with my best friend, Elin to celebrate for E. It was her second time to the zoo. And Elin gave her a pair of sunglasses and treated us to KFC lunch. We were out from 9.30 am to 8 pm. It was so tiring for me especially because more than half the time, she wants to be carried.

Mommy loves you and is so proud to be your mommy. You always help me in your little ways whenever you can. When you knew that I have fever, you fed me the whole bowl of oats until the last mouthful. Whenever I sweep the floor, you come and offer help. Whenever, I feel down, you came and ask me "mommy, what happen? your face look sad".

When you get upset with me, you hit me, you say nasty things but the next day you say that "we are a family" again. Yes, we are a family, we stay together in good times and in bad. We don't quit on one another.

Thank you so much baby, for being in my life.
You have shown and taught me things that I didn't notice sometimes.

I was so tired after the party. For 3 consecutive nights, I slept at 9.30 pm together with the kids and wake up at 6 am for work.
